Is there any risk or negative impact on me or my company?

The business owner will have inquiries to their personal credit report and those can have a negative impact on the personal credit score for up to 6 months. If you carry high balances on credit cards that report to your personal credit file, your scores will be negatively affected. Never max-out any credit line if you want to maximize your credit scores.
